Last week East Carolina pulled a reverse Frank Beamer and beat the Hokies.

Pundits called it a fluke. They said  the ACC is horrible.

The pundits added that the #8 West Virginia crew led by quarterback Pat White would come into Greenvile and wax ECU.

Well, the Pirates put it on them 24-3. As I was watching the BYU/Washington game, I kept thinking the ticker was wrong.

It wasn’t, and the game was not close. Not close. It should have been at least 31-3 because one of the WR’s dropped a pass that hit him in the hands that would have surely been a TD.

The Pirate defense was awesome. The Mountaineer team that waxed Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl scored only 3 points.

Maybe the day where Skip Holtz is the most famous Holtz has come.
