NFL WEEK 4 Picks

September 25th, 2008 · No Comments

Week 4 of the 2008 National Football League is upon us.

SFP blog went 3-2 in its picks last week. Here’s hoping we do better this week.

Jets over Cardinals.

Brett’s return home from a thumping in San Diego. Cards stayed east after losing in DC. They are homesick and Jets will send them quickly packing. Jets go into bye-week 2-2.

Bucs over Packers

Griese threw the ball 67 times last weekagainst the Bears D and didn’t get sacked. IN CHICAGO! Wow. Great job by the Tampa O-Line. No Al Harris in Packer secondary this week means tough times for the Pack. Bucs will improve to 3-1.

Titans over Vikings

In a battle of backup-qb’s, Collins will lead Tennessee to a victory. Haynesworth, Vanden Bosch and Finnegan will be tough for Petersen and the Norsemen.

Eagles over Bears

Eagles are playing some of the best football in this young season. Even the Monday night loss to Dallas was really well played well and it was at home.  Jimmie Johnson D will blitz Orton into submission, Bears won’t be able to run the ball, Eagles will end three game road trip at 2-1.

Ravens over Steelers (Monday night)
Ray Rice will run the ball against tough Steeler D. Steeler 0 will not be able to do anything against the Ravens. If Steel City fans thought last week was tough, look out against Lewis, Reed, and the rest of Baltimore D.
