Why do partners nag so much?
Someone asks you to do something. You reluctantly agree, and when you don’t do the task that you said you were going to do, you get nagged.
Why is that?
This stuff is usually associated with women, yet I know a lot of men who do this very thing.
That’s why I love football, and women who play it.
They don’t nag.
If their job on the field doesn’t get done, the player will be replaced, the coach will get fired, and the fans will stop supporting the team.
It’s an accountable sport. The game boils down to 6 or 7 plays a game, has a week of preparation before the contests, and very things are surprises. It’s happening, you know it’s happening, and the team and the players with the will to execute usually is victorious.
So what does nagging have to do with football?
Probably nothing. Except if the partners who nagged so much loved football, maybe they’d keep their mouths shut.
